Solar Battery Q&A Zoom
Hi All,
Just touching base about the Solar Batteries topic. I've heard around the neighborhood there is some concern about which batteries are made for Off-Grid use.
I'm sharing this in case anyone finds it helpful.
The solar company we are using carries 3 choices of batteries:
Franklin
Tesla Powerwall 3
Enphase
He has confirmed that all 3 of these choices are designed for Off-Grid use.
(I think the older Tesla Powerwall models weren't specifically designed for off-grid)
Because he represents all 3, he chooses on a case by case basis which product is the best recommendation for each homeowner's specific needs. Therefore he is in the unique position of having lot's of experience with all 3 batteries actually installed and in use on homes.
He knows many of us are far down the line in our research of various companies and in some cases already committed, but some may now be confused if the battery being recommended by their vendor is indeed suitable for Off-Grid. He has offered to do an informational group zoom to help answer questions since he has current and ongoing experience with all 3 battery choices.
The zoom is not to solicit people to switch to him. He thinks having a group zoom would be helpful so everyone can hear each other's questions and concerns, and provide clarity on each product that they are considering.
He is offering a Zoom Q&A this Wednesday 9/18 at 9:30am, and another on Saturday 9/21 at 11am.
I'll post the links when I get them.
Again, everyone is welcome to join in regardless of what vendor you are using.
PS: I am posting this as an individual homeowner, not as a Board Member, nor representing the HOA.
