With today’s notice that Cox is disconnecting service to upper Portuguese Bend, neighbors may want to consider Starlink. Starlink is a satellite internet system that can provide the same service currently offered by Cox and Frontier. The monthly fee is $120, and the hardware is $299. Shipping time is two-three weeks. I am going to send a letter to the company explaining our situation and ask for a community discount and priority shipping. I will keep you posted.
A resident commented that West Marine has these in stock at their warehouse and can be delivered to store in 1-3 days.
