Landslide Victim Support
Support to victims of the landslide in the Portuguese Bend, Seaview, and Beach Club neighborhoods is being offered by St. Paul’s Church (in Golden Cove).
Two Free Services are offered:
OPEN KITCHEN:
The large, fully equipped kitchen is open for residents to bring their own food and cook in. Pots, pans, utensils, dishes, ovens, stoves, microwave are provided in a spacious kitchen. Location: Upper Room Kitchen (top building).
Hours: Weekdays 4:30 – 7:30. Weekend or extra hours requests will be taken.
Sign up 24 hours (or more) in advance. Room for multiple cooks at one time. To sign up, email: StPaulsAssistance@gmail.com
Dine-in or take your meal(s) home.
A St. Paul’s host will be onsite for guidance.
LAUNDRY SERVICE:
Drop off laundry at St. Paul’s and pick up next day, washed, dried, folded.
Location: Upper Building.
St. Paul’s volunteers will launder in their homes. Your contact info and list of items to be laundered is required (forms provided or bring your own). Choose hot, warm, or cold.
Drop off times: Tuesday 4 – 6 pm (Begins Sept. 24)
Pick up Times: Wednesday 4 – 6 pm (Next day)
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 31290 PV Dr South, Golden Cove.
Park in church lot or in adjacent cul-de-sac.
