Landslide Resident Services: Showers, Laundry and Portable Battery Packs
Beginning Thursday October 17th, the Ladera Linda Community Center will host a shower facility trailer. The showers will be in a self-contained trailer with onsite staff to assist. The hours of operation are Monday through Sunday from 4:30 pm and 9 pm.
Beginning Wednesday, October 23rd, the Ladera Linda Community Center will begin offering laundry services. The laundry services will only be available Wednesdays (3pm-9pm) and Sundays (1pm-7pm). If you would like to participate, simply drop off your laundry to the designated staff, and they will take it from there. The wait time for this service is typically 1 ½ to 2 hours, depending on how many residents are using the service.
Lastly, the City has worked with a vendor to provide portable battery packs for residents to check out at Ladera Linda Community Park. These battery packs can charge a phone, tablet, or similar devices. There are a limited number of battery packs available, and they will be issued on a first come first basis.
IMPOARTANT: Residents interested in these services can simply verify eligibility by visiting Ladera Linda Community Park between the hours of 9 am to 8 pm, or visit City Hall’s Reception Desk between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm, and present a valid ID. Verified residents will be issued a resident card to present to staff when using the services.

Hello everyone,
For those of you who I haven’t met yet, my name is Josh Lucas, and I am the new Recreation Supervisor here at Ladera Linda Community Center. I am very excited to continue to get to know you all as I keep working to make Ladera Linda an amazing place for us all to share and enjoy!
I just wanted to send a quick reminder to you all that we have services that are now live and available for residents to use at the center. These services are free for all residents in the affected areas and there will be no resident card required. Just bring your ID and check in with staff to get instructions. Showers and battery packs have been available for a few days now while laundry will make its debut this evening!
Shower Program
We have the shower trailers with the Showers of Hope team in our parking lot available every day from 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Laundry Program
Laundry service will be available right next to the shower trailers in the parking lot on Tuesdays from 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM and Sundays from 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Charge Fuze Battery Packs
Rent a free battery pack to charge any phone or tablet.
